一、教学目标

1.通过练习,巩固复习本单元单词、重点句型。

2.通过游戏、说唱等方式复习本单元内容,学生能独立完成checkout time中的练习。

3.通过活动和练习检测学习情况。

4. 结合生活,写一写自己曾经就医的英文小短文。

二.教材分析

Checkout time有两个活动.Think and write是一个写作活动,要求学生根据图片内容将句子补充完整,以检测同学们对情态动词的否定句式的掌握情况,也可作为Ticking time的评价依据。Listen and choose是一个听力活动,旨在测试学生对文本的理解情况。Ticking time包含三项内容:1)。能够用英文谈论疾病。2)能够用should和shouldn’t给别人建议。3)知道子母组合“ch”。

三.学情分析

通过三课时的学习,大部分学生已能够较好地掌握本单元的核心知识,熟练地运用Where ...live?/He/She/They...结构的句型表达,但运用时还是偶有出错,个别同学还存在困难,需要帮助。通过第四课时的自我检测,能够很好地激励每位学生查缺补漏;同时注重引导学困生,增强他们学习英语的自信。

四.教学重难点

1、巩固复习本单元的课文、单词和重点句型。

2、结合生活,写自己曾经就医的英文小短文。

五.教学过程

1.  Greeting and daily English

T: Tim is ill. What’s wrong with him? How does he feel and what should he do?

3. Who can retell the listening text in your own words?

5.  T: Do you know how to talk about illness now?

6.  Show some pictures about the patients and doctors. Lead Ss to give some advices. Make dialogues

7.  Choose one picture and try to talk about it with your partners.

Dr: What’s the matter with you, madam?

B: Doctor, I’m not feeling well. I have a headache.

Dr: How long have you been like this?

B: For two days.

Dr: Open your mouth and say “Ah…”

B: Ah…

Dr: Then let me take your temperature. Five minutes later,I’m afraid you have a bad cold. I think you should have a good rest and drink more water. Take this medicine twice a day. You’ll be better soon.

B: Thank you, doctor. I will follow your words.

教师引出当前的背景 “We are suffering the N-Cov All of us are fighting (斗争) with it.”教师顺势创造出话题语境,出示校医务室的一则招募通知,校医务室需要若干名助手来协助校医的工作

T: Do you want to be a little helper of our school infirmary?

S: Yes.

T: To be a little helper, what do we need? Lets discuss in groups.

S: How to ask about illness, give advice...

T: Great. To be a helper of the doctor, we need to know a lot. First, we should know more about illness. Second, we should know how to ask about illness clearly. Finally, we should know how to write a medical record and give advice.
