4B Unit 5 Seasons教案

 

Teaching aims

1. 掌握季节类生词spring, summer, autumn, winter; 气候类生词: warm, hot, cool, cold; 活动类词组:fly kites, go boating, go swimming, have picnics, go climbing, go skating.

2. 学会制作简易思维导图。能利用所学借助照片描述自己的季节活动。

3. 激发学生对四季的喜爱之情,热爱生活,热爱自然。

 

1. 教学重点

掌握季节类生词spring, summer, autumn, winter; 气候类生词: warm, hot, cool, cold; 活动类词组:fly kites, go boating, go swimming, have picnics, go climbing, go skating.

2. 教学难点

学会制作思维导图,能利用思维导图简述文章,并借助思维导图更清晰地表达自己的语言。

 

 

Teaching process

Step1. Warm up and introduction

1. Free talk

2. Watch a video

  What is this video about?  Seasons.

3. Brain storming.

  Now, about season, what do you want to know?

将学生的回答引到问题:

Q1: What seasons are there?

Q2: Whats the weather like in each season?
Q3: What can we do?

 

Step2. Presentation

1. Q1

  Now, first, how many seasons are there? What are they? Lets watch the video and learn the new words by yourself.

  A. Students learn by themselves.

  B. Now, what seasons are there? 思维导图出现四个季节,学生读出。

2. Q2

  There are four seasons in a year. They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. Now, whats the weather like in each season? Lets watch the cartoon.

   A. Students watch the cartoon.

   B. 展示课文图片及对应文本。Whats the weather like in spring? Can you find the key words? 教授warm.

   C. Now, what about the other seasons?   

D. Now, whats the weather like in each season? 思维导图出现四种气候,学生读出。

3. Q3

   Different seasons have different weather. And, in each season, what can we do? Now, lets learn and share in group  Here are the tips for you. You can discuss in this way.

   A. Show the requirements.

      Step1. 自主选择季节,组长分工协调。

      Step2. 自主学习完成匹配。

      Step3. 小组交流,分享合作。

   B. 思维导图出现四个季节的活动,学生读出。In spring, we ... / ...

 (至此,思维导图完整呈现)

  

4. 思维导图(介绍思维导图及其作用)

   A. Look at the screen. Whats this do you know? Its called mind map. It can help us to learn more easily and clearly.

   B. 利用思维导图,简述文章

   Now, lets use it to retell the poem. Can you have a try?

5. Now, lets enjoy our reading. Pay attention to the press and intonation.

  

Step 3. Expanding

1. What season do you like?

   A. Students answer.

   B. Teacher tells the answer and show an example: (同时用图片配合,拓展green, strawberries ,并展示自己的思维导图)

     I like spring.

     Spring is green.

     In spring, it is warm.

     We fly kites.

     We go boating.

     We eat strawberries.

     We like spring.

2. Mind map show.

  We know, mind map can help us a lot. Now, can you try to draw a mind map about your favorite season? Here is some information for you. You can refer to them.

  A. Students draw the mind map.

  B. Take photos and share in class.

  C. Show and introduce in class.

3. Lets enjoy. (图片秀配上音乐)

   You can draw mind maps for seasons. You are great. You are wonderful!

   You know, seasons are beautiful. Now, lets enjoy some pictures of seasons.

4. 情感升化。

   Life is beautiful. Enjoy every season, enjoy every moment.

 

Step 4. Homework

1. Read and act the story emotionally.

    (有感情的朗读并表演课文。)

2. Write a beautiful introduction for your photo, and keep it well. (利用今天所学给你的照片配上美美的解说,并珍藏好。)

3. Surf the Internet and find the weather differnces between different countries. Share in class. (上网搜索不同国家的季节差异,全班分享。)
