《英语》3A Unit 8 Happy New Year! Storytime

一、课题

《英语》3A Unit 8《Happy New Year!》(课时)。

 

二、目标预设

1. 认知目标:

a.能听懂、会说、会读单词a doll, a ball, a robot.

b.能听懂、会说,会读句型Whats this/that? This is for及其应答。

c.能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语Happy New Year!及其回答。

d.能流利地朗读课文,并能掌握课文内容进行分角色对话表演。

2. 能力目标

a.能听懂节日问候的日常用语并作出相应的回答。

b.能正确使用Whats this/that? This is for询问物品和互赠礼物

3. 情目标:培养学生懂礼貌、乐于分享的良好品质。

 

三、教学重点、难点

1.教学重点:

a.能听懂节日问候的日常用语并作出相应的回答。

b.能正确使用Whats this/that? This is for询问物品和互赠礼物

2.教学难点:理解this与that的区别,并能根据图片或实际情况正确使用。

 

、教学过程

Step 1   Warming-up

1. Greetings

T: Class begins.

Ss: Stand up.

T: Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning/afternoon, Miss Qi.

T: How are you?

Ss: Im fine, thank you, and you?

T: Im fine too. Sit down please.

Ss: Thank you.

2.Sing a song——Happy New Year

 T: Okay, boys and girls, today is Dec. XX. And do you know what festival is coming? Lets enjoy a song and try to find the answer. 播放歌曲:Happy New Year.

   T: Wowao! Boys and girls, this song is about.. (出示日历)

   Ss: New Years Day!

   T: Yes! Happy New Year, class!

   Ss: Happy New Year, Miss Qi.

(课件显示大日历,设置真实新年情境)

   T: Happy New Year, XXX

   S1:Happy New Year, Miss Qi.

   T:This is for you.(给小贴纸作为礼物)

   S1: Thank you, Miss Qi.

   T: Happy New Year, XXX

   S2: Happy New Year, Miss Qi.

   与单个学生交流,互相祝福Happy New Year!并适时表扬Excellent!

 

   

Step 2   Presentation

1. T: Oh, on New Years day , people will give presents to each other. And today there is man comes to Mikes family, lets have a look: Who are they?

T:Whos she?

S1: Shes Helen.

T:Good, and whos he?

S2:Hes Mike.

T:Well, and this man, lets have a guess, whos he?

S3:Hes uncle John.

T:Very good, hes Uncle John, and he takes so many presents with him, because a holiday is coming. Now  here are some questions, lets watch the story and try to find the answer.

Q1: What holiday is coming?

Q2:What gifts are they?

2. 在课文中教读单词和句子。

a. Watch and tick

T:Okay, now look at the screen, Q1, What holiday is coming?

S1:New Years Day.

T:Good, and what do they say to each other?

Ss: Happy New year!

T: Very good, lets read after the tape.(播放录音,模仿语音语调)邀请一排同学模仿,并给出适当评价。

 

T: So they say Happy New Year to each other, as I said, on New Years Day, people will give gifts to each other, Uncle John takes so many gifts with him, so Q2:what gifts are they?

S1: A doll.

T: Good, now read after me a doll.

Ss: A doll.

T: And then, where can you find the answer?(引导学生阅读课本,寻找课本内容,并读出来)Good, lets read after the tape.(逐句播放课文,学生跟读)

拿出教具贴纸,一排学生问过去Da dang~ Whats this?

S1,2,3,4,5,6:Its a doll.

So look at the screen, read after the tape.

Ss:doll,doll

T: and then, this is出示:dog

Ss: dog

T: Good, this is d,and d says

Ss:/d/

T; This is o,and o says

Ss:/o/

 

   T: Very good, and next, what present?

   S1: a ball.

   T: Good, where can you find the answer?

   带读ball 的课文。并教读,whats that

   具体教读,单词ball


T: The last present is a

S3: Robot.

T: Very good, where can you find the answer?教读robot 部分课文以及单词.

b.Try to guess

So we have learned so many presents, lets have a game, try to guess, Whats this/that.

可以拿着具体的玩具,放在远近处询问。

d.Let’s chant, now lets read this chant.老师先带读,有节奏。

e.Read and match

T: As there are so many gifts, and what are they for, lets read the story time and underline the answer. And then I will invite some students to tell me the answer.

T:Okay, now stop, look at the screen, whats this?

Ss: Its a doll

T:And this doll id forXXX

S1:this doll is for Helen.

T: Where can you find the answer?你从哪一句话找到的答案?

S1: This is for you Helen.

T: Good, now lets read it.

以此类推,完成连线

Helen             ball

Mike              robot

Tim               doll

学生跟读对话剩余部分。注意语音升降调

Step3: Practice

1. Lets read

T: okay lets read together. 先一起齐读一遍,注意语音升降调。

三人一组,以小组为单位,选择一种喜欢的方式读一读课文。

2.Lets act

小组分角色表演对话,注意模仿人物的语音语调,神态和动作!

 

Step 4  Production

T:Boys and girls, Tim is back now, and have a guess, what will they talk, try to make a dialogue. Here are some sentences you can use.

Step 5 Homework

T:Very good, now Mike, Helen and Time they all have their gifts, they will have a happy holiday. So you can try to prepare a New Year present for your family today? Remember, to give is happier than to take forever.

Enjoy your New Year, enjoy your life.

This is your homework, and class is over.

Ss: Stand up.

T: Goodbye, boys and girls.

Ss: Goodbye, Miss Qi
