教学目标:

1. 通过绘本阅读,学生能整体理解感知故事。

2. 通过绘本阅读,提高学生提取信息的能力,培养学生的核心素养。

3. 通过绘本阅读,让学生在学到知识的同时,能感受到情感的表达。

教学重难点:

学生对故事情节的理解

教学过程:

Step1 Pre-reading

1. Greetings

2. Lead in

T:Do you have an animal friend?

S:...

T:I have an animal friend,too.Look!Its eyes are big and green.It likes fish.It can catch the mouse.So,what is my animal friend

SCat

T:Today we are going to read a picture book about this cat

Step2 While-reading

1. Cover reading

T:What can you get from the cover?

S:Writer,Title,Fat Cat

2. Guess:What is Fat Cat busy with?

S:学生猜测,并板书,提高学生的成就感

3. Look at two pictures:

T:In the morning,...In the evening,...what are they doing?Does Fat Cat sleep all day?

S:No.

T:Yes,today is his busy day.Now,lets have a look.

3. Fast reading

What does Fat Cat do?

S:He catches the thief

4. Listen and order

How does he catch the thief?

S:将六张图片排序,整体感知抓小偷的过程,同时培养学生的听的能力

5. Divide the pictures into three parts

Part1:When Fat Cat sees the man,what does he do?

Part2:When the thief runs away,what does Fat Cat do?

Part3:When Mum comes back,what does Fat Cat do?

S:三个小组分别解决三个问题,并共同交流分享,让学生学会小组学习,分工合作,通过边说边演帮助学生理解文本,同时其他组对该组进行提问、评价,实现交互式学习。

Step3 After-reading

1. What can you learn from the story?

S:Animals are our good friends.We should love and protect animals.

2. Homework

1) Tell the story to your parents

2) Read more picture books
