【知识目标】
1.能正确听、说、读、写单词excited;能正确听、说、读单词和词组exciting, sports day, running race, ground。
2.能正确听、说、读句型Where was/were…a moment ago/just now? It was/They were….
3.能正确运用交际用语It is Sports Day. Can I have them, please? Can you pick them up for me, please?
4.能正确理解和朗读课文内容,并借助关键词复述出来。

Step1 Warming up

Step2 Presentation
1. Review a story
播放5A上的一个故事,讨论老鼠的位置。借助PPT的出现、消失功能,引出句型“Where is the mouse? It’s… It isn’t there now. It was there a moment ago/ just now.”并通过位置的变换,操练数遍。再出现另一只老鼠,引出复数句型“Where are the two mice? They’re… They aren’t there now. They were there a moment ago/ just now.”并进行操练。(在引出句型的同时学习词汇:was, were, a moment ago, just now)
2.Learn Part A
(1)Bobby is very excited. Why are all the students very excited ?
Watch the cartoon and answer the question.
Say a chant: Sports Day (Learn: running race, exciting) 比较excited和exciting。
(2)Listen and answer
