一、教材简析:
本课时是译林版《牛津小学英语》5B Unit 4 An English friend A 部分 Read and say这一版块主要讲述了高山和王冰谈论英国朋友Tom的故事。通过本课的学习,学生将学会一些与现代生活密切相关且学生很感兴趣的知识,如上网surf the Internet,写电子邮件write an e-mail等,通过本课的学习,学生可以了解更多关于新朋友Tom的信息。
二、教学设计理念:
整个教学从新课程的理念出发,面向全体学生,立足于语篇教学的整体性原则,通过课文的学习,感知一般现在时的特征,理解第三人称一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的表达方式并能初步运用这些句型描写自己的朋友。教学着重于学生方法、技能的培养,强化重点,突破难点。通过多媒体教学创设学生乐学,易说的课堂情境。在教师的主导下,引导学生主动获取知识,培养学生用英语思维的能力,激发学生用英语表达的欲望。学以致用,提高课堂教学效率。
三、教学内容:5BUnit 4 An English friend Part A Read and say.
四、教学目标:
1、能听得懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词 e-mail, busy, town, usually, well.
2、能听得懂、会说、会读日常交际用语I’m busy.和短语surf the Internet, write an e-mail
3、能运用句型What does he/she usually do …? He/She usually …进行简单交流。
4、正确地理解课文,并能流利、准确地朗读。

Step 1 Warming up
1. Free talk

2. Sing a song<<Hobbies>>

3. Talk show
T: Do you have any hobbies?
S1: Yes, I do.
T: Talk about your hobbies.
S1: Talk show: My hobbies
(设计意图:在这一环节中,首先用轻快活泼的英语歌曲,将学生带入学习英语的氛围中,师生同唱,将英语氛围渲染得更浓。同时引出hobbies这一话题,让学生通过话题演讲,培养学生敢说,想说,乐说的能力,同时为下面的教学作好铺垫)
Step 2 Presentation
1. Learn the sentences.( 延续前面的话题演讲,对学生进行提问)
(1) Does he have any hobbies?
(根据talk show学生的爱好进行提问,进一步检查其他学生的听力情况。)
(2) Do you usually…at school? Teach: usually
( 3) What does he/she usually do at home? Guess
S: He/She usually …s/es …., I think.
Teach the sentences.
(这一环节设计,只要求学生初步感知、理解本课的重点句型,结合学生的生活实际,循序渐进,让学生易于理解,便于使用。利用猜测的方式教学句型,创设了真实的语言情境运用语言,引导学生表达与新知识相关的日常用语,为学生活学活用开辟了多种渠道,这样远比教师无意义的简单机械操练更为有趣。)
2. Learn the text
A.教师出示图片:Look at the picture.
1、T: Wang Bing is sitting in front of the computer. Is he surfing the Internet?
S: No, he isn’t. He is writing an e-mail to his English friend.
2、What does Gao Shan want to do?
B. 看动画,并回答问题
1、T: Does Wang Bing go to play table tennis with Gao Shan? Why?
S: No, he doesn’t. He’s busy.
2、Who is he writing to? 揭题:Unit 4 An English friend
(设计意图:播放课文的Flash动画。此部分让学生充分感知学习材料,通过任务型教学的训练让学生带着问题去看,这样很容易培养学生认真看认真听的好习惯,以到达初步理解课文的内容。长期这样坚持,学生英语水平一定会得到很大的提高。)
C. 读课文,找问题。

在回答问题的过程中,教师把学生所说的答句板书在黑板上。对于前面学习过的新内容surf the Internet等加以巩固和复习。对于新内容a small town near London, play well 等采用随文识字的方法。
D Talk about Tom
学生根据黑板上Tom的板书,选择对Tom最感兴趣的话题进行同桌练习。
(设计意图:课文处理我采用分段式教学,将课文分为两大段,引言部分和对话部分。引言部分比较简单,我让学生听录音看图回答问题,在问题中随文识字,理清引言部分的含义。我紧紧抓住对话部分重点的5个问句,我指导学生阅读找问句,朗读对话然后勾与问题相关的信息,在校对信息的过程中随文识字教学新单词,再通过师生对话操练巩固对话部分的5个重点句型。这样几个步骤下来,学生对课文内容已经掌握得很熟练。)
Step4. Consolidation.
1. Retell the text.(多媒体呈现本课线索流程图,帮助学生加以复述)
2. Write a passage about your friend.
1) 出示例文:My good friend.
2) Write a passage about your friend.
(设计意图:让学生在习得语言的基础上,通过任务驱动学得语言,即在教师的引导下,以活动为中心,让学生介绍自己的好友,通过思考、交流、体验,充分发挥自己的主体作用来训练学生综合运用语言的能力。)
Step5.Summary
T:Friend is important in our daily life .at the end of the lesson, let’s learn a saying: A friend in need is a friend in deed. 患难之交才是真正的朋友。( 学生跟读)
(学习谚语,能刺激学生感官,从理解字面意思到联系自己与朋友的关系,能使他们懂得友谊的重要性,对他们进行了思想品德教育。)

1.认真听录音,模仿语音语调,试着读好课文。
2.试着用今天学到的知识,谈谈身边的朋友。
