Step 1 Warming up
1.Greeting.
T: Look at the learning target of this class, boys and girls. Can you do it?
S: Yes, I can.
2.Number song.
播放歌曲Number song的视频,并设置问题:
①How many monkeys are there in the song?
②What number can you see?
Step 2 Presentation
1.教师说明本课设置的背景。
T: Today’s Mike’s birthday, he is 12 now. Bobby prepared some presents for him and he put them in a box. Let’s see what’s in his box.
2.Bobby’s box
(1)引导学生利用PPT上出示的句型“Bobby,what do you have?”进行提问,出示toy cars,dolls,pencils和stickers,教授单词sticker的读音、拼写及含义。
T: Do you know what’s in the box?
S: No, I don’t.
(2)引导学生利用PPT上出示的句型“Bobby, how many stickers do you have?”进行提问,
在学生数stickers的过程中教授新的数字的英语形式thirteen,fourteen,fifteen…,让学生比较这些单词在音、形上的异同点,加深学生对数字的认识。
3.Summary:Let’s remember
乱序出现本节课新授单词,检测学生掌握情况。
4.Talking time
教师出示句型给学生,请学生根据手头的物品与同桌一起编对话,并抽部分学生上台表演对话。

出示课题:Unit 3 How many?
1.教师出示课件,让学生浏览一遍Story time部分内容。
2.播放Story视频,出示需填空的表格,请学生观看后完成表格
