Step1. Warm up

1. Sing two songs: “ Days” ”What do you do every day?”

2. Play a game

Magic eyes

(play basketball, play football, swim…chat on the Internet, fly a kite, go to the cinema, have a picnic, visit, always, usually)

Step 2. Free talk

How many days are there in a week? What are they?

What day is it today? What do you do on…?

引出“We always have lessons from Monday to Friday. We don’t have lessons on Saturday and Sunday.”

Saturday and Sunday= weekend

Step 3. Presentation and practice

1. Watch and answer

What are they talking about? Weekends.

Whose weekends are they talking about? Su Hai, Su Yang, Mike and Helen

2. Read and fill in the form

教师先带领学生一起细读课文，知道苏海和苏阳的周末活动，然后学生自主阅读，书上找出迈克和海伦的周末活动以及相关的频率副词，并小组内检查答案。
