一、教学目标：

1、能听懂、会说、会读单词：doll, ball, CD, car, robot

2、能听懂、会说、会读句子：Happy New Year! What’s this? It’s ... This is for you.

3、能听懂、正确地理解并用合适的升降调朗读Story time, 在老师的引导和帮助下表演课文内容。

4、知道西方国家通过互赠礼物来过新年的习俗。

5、培养激发学生的英语学习兴趣。

Step1：Warm-up

1、Greeting

   Good morning!

   Nice to meet you!

2、Free talk

   Would you like ...?

   What about ...?

   Look at my ...

Step2: Listen and sing the English songs

1. Sing the song 《Good morning》、《Family song》

2. Today I have a new song for you.

   Listen to the song:《Happy New Year》

   Today we’ll learn Unit8 Happy New Year

   通过肢体语言学习单词happy

   认读new, year

3. When should we greet with “Happy New Year”?解释元旦，师生用句子互致问候。

Step3: Presentaiton

1.  In western countries,boys and girls will receive New Year presents. This year, Helen, Mike and Tim get presentstoo.

2.  出示礼物盒，人物图片Helen, Mike, Tim

3. watch and match

  What do they receive? Let’s watch and match

  人物与对应颜色的盒子连接起来

4. Learn the new words: doll, ball, robot

  通过打开盒子，询问What’s this? It’s a ... It’s for ...学习本故事中三个新单词。

5. Who gives the presents to them?再次观看课文动画，引出人物Uncle John,学习练读

Step4：Read the story

1. 跟课文动画朗读两遍，注意模仿语音语调。期间指出that与this的区别。

2. 学生自己练读

3. 小组合作：三人一组，选择一种自己喜欢的方式朗读课文

4. 学生展示

Step5：Homework

1.跟录音朗读课文五遍

2.拼读并抄写单词：doll,ball,robot
