四上Unit 4 I can play basketball单元分析

教材分析

本单元主要学习如何询问他人是否会做某项运动,要求学生会说一些体育运动basketballfootball及一些表示动作的单词jump, skate, swim等。本课通过MikeWang Bing, Liu Tao在学校篮球上的活动及对话要求学生能够能够运用句型Can you...?和答句 Yes, I can. No, I can’t. Can he...? 和答句Yes, he can. No, he can’t. 并理解What about you? Have a try. I can play basketball well. 能够运用各种不同的表达如Nice! Cool! Great!等来赞美。通过Fun time文字的趣味排版的形式,让学生能够通过趣味阅读,根据内容来说一说自己及他人能够做的和不能够做的运动项目,巩固本课句型。

学情分析

学生在一、二年级已经学过关于Can的句型,如 I can.... Can you...? What can you do?也学过一些表示能力动作的单词如shout, run, talk, sleep,drink play table tennis 等。因此在本课教学时,老师一方面对于学生已知的内容要激发出来,另一方面要调整教学目标,如可以增加一些表示能力的词汇play volleyball,孩子在read and say会用到,让学生进行模仿Fun time进行练习表达,说说自己及其它人的一些能力。另外,老师要鼓励学生在生活中多用一些本课学过的内容如Nice! Cool! Great!及前面学过的Wonderful!等词。根据学生的年龄特点,采用游戏的方式,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中掌握所学知识。


四上Unit 4 I can play basketball (Period1 Story time)教学设计

一、教学目标:

1.能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语及句型I can play basketball . Can you play basketball ? Can Mike? 及回答Yes, I/ he can. No, I / he cant.并能初步运用。

2.能主动表达NiceCoolGreat! Very well!Have a try!夸赞他人或鼓励他人。

3.能正确理解Story time故事,用较好的语音语调朗读对话,并尝试表演。

4.通过学习故事激发学生对运动的热爱,能用积极的方式参加运动。

二、教学重点:

正确理解故事,并会朗读。

三、教学难点:

能对句型Can ?作出正确应答。

四、教学准备:PPT,篮球,单词卡片

五、教学过程:

Step 1.Warming up

1. TI have a basketball, first lets play basketball .

(出示具体要求,评价语,Nice, Cool, Great, Have a try !)

2. T: Lets enjoy some songs , and try to know what they can do .

Step 2.Free talk

1.T: Whats your name? Nice to meet you . Look, I have a basketball, Do you like it/ this basketball? Can you play basketball ?

2. Lets play an interesting game . From the game you will know more about me .It named ‘ I can.

Lookheres the rule .

Please say:Yeah,Yeah,Yeah,if you can do what I can. Please say : No.No.No,if you cant do what I can. 

第一遍:

I can walk. Look! /I can run .Look ! I can run but cant run fast .

I can sing. / I can dance . but I cant dance very well .

I can jump .Look! / I can swim. I can swim very well .

I can make ice creams. Can you?Great! /I can play basketball .

Ss:Yeah,yeah,yeah. /No,no,no.

第二遍:Now lets exchange . Would you please tell us what you can do ? (出示规则,请生说,师生反应Ss:Yeah,yeah,yeah. /No,no,no.)

Step 3.Presentation and practice

1.T: Im very glad that you can do so many things . Some of you can play basketball. Just now you played very well .Today were going to learn Unit 4 I can play basketball . (揭题) Look, heres the basketball .

教授: basketball ,发音分解:abas, Iket, basket, ballbasketball

教授:play , eIplayplay basketball

TI can play basketball . Can you ? If you can please stand up and tell me .学生起立说句子: I can play basketball .( Cool, Nice, Great !评价)

2. T: Cool, many of you can play basketball.

对坐着的学生说:Can you play basketball ?

S: Yes, I can . / No , I cant . ( 给学生提示,引导学生回答)

3.教授:cant acant(集体两两,比较cancant

4.Read and answer:

(1)T : But , can you read it in right intonation?  

Lets listen .  Ss 听音,试读, 出现升调标志

(2) Work in pairs like this:

A:Can you play basketball,..? (强调加名字的升调朗读)

B: Yes, I can. / No, I can`t.

(学生自由练习看情况请生表演Let me have a look/ Have a try !)

Step 4.Story time

1.T:Now,I`m sure you can play basketball very well. What about our old friends ? Look at the picture. Here are three boys. Who are they ?(板书)

Ss: Mike ,Wang Bing and Liu Tao.

T:Where are they?

Ss: They are in the playground .

T: Theyre playing basketball. (出现篮球) So I want to knowCan WangBing play basketball ?

What about you ? What else do you want to know ?

(学生自由提问Can Mike/ Liu Tao?)

Let`s watch cartoons and try to find the answers .

2.Watch cartoons and answer the questions:

Can Wang Bing play basketball? (注意纠错 he can)

Lets listen and repeat .

Now lets talk about Wang Bing:

师问齐答: Can Wang Bing play basketball ?

Can you play basketball ?

Please work in pairs.(学生根据PPT同桌问答) 

3.T:Can Mike play basketball?

SsYes, he can .

T: Is he good at playing basketball?  (他打得怎么样?)

SsHe can play basketball very well. (学习very well)

T:  Look at the picture, how do you know that?

Listen againCool!

T: We know Mike can play very well. Look, YaoMing can play basketball very well,too. SunYang can swim very well .

Can you repeat the sentences very well?

4.What about Liu Tao ? (学生回答No/ Yes)

I have two questions for you .

Watch and choose, can Liu Tao play basketball at first ? Can Liu Tao play basketball at last?

Let`s watch the cartoon again,

T: Can Liu Tao play at first?

Ss: No,he doesnt think so.

T: Why ? (配图,引导学生看图,说说理由LiuTao is nervous at first , so he cant play well .

At that time , what can we say to LiuTao? (学习have a try ,大组读,引导学生读出语气)

Look, can the boy play basketball? So we can say: Have a try.(个别)

Can he jump ? We can say : Have a try . (集体)

T: Can Liu Tao play at last ?

Ss : Yes, he can .

T:  Yes, look at the picture .  He can play at last . Why ? (配图,引导学生看图,说说理由At last , he is confident, so he can play very well .

So boys and girls , there are so many teachers here now , they are looking at you and listening to you , are you confident ?

Great ! Lets listen and repeat very well .

4. TCool! You read the story very well . From this story we know (出示课文图)WangBing ,Mike and Liu Tao can play basketball , so we can praise them with the sentences : Nice! Cool! Great ! Good!(学生说)

Liu Tao cant play at first , so we can encourage him : Have a try !

5. I think you all understand the story very well. Now lets read ,then match the pictures and the sentences.

(学生同桌读对话)

6.T:Great . Now it`s time for you to read the story in roles.

T: You can get one or two stars according to your work . Who wants to have a try ?

T: (生读完后) How many stars can they get ?

Step 5.Consolidation

1.T: Heres a chance for you to get three stars : Super! But you will try to act the story .

Step 6.Summary

1.Today we read the story about WangBing, Mike and LiuTao. WangBing can play basketball . Its nice! Mike can play basketball very well. Its cool ! Liu Tao cant play basketball at first , so we say : Have a try , LiuTao. At last, he can play basketball . Its great . Theyre all good!(边总结边板书)

2.T: Now we know the boys can play basketball. What about the girlsLook at this picture.Who are they ? They are in the playground . They are playing basketball , too. Can you make another dialogue ?

Step 7Homework

1.Listen and read the story ,try to recite it.

2.Act the story in groups.

3.Try to make a new dialogue about the girls.
