Step 1 Free talk
1 Good morning,boys and girls.
2 Hi!/Hello!/
Nice to meet you. How are you?
Step 2 Presentation and pratice
1.What’s this in English? Can I have a look? May I have a …?
Make some dialogues with students.
Then teach the title “May I have…?”.
2. Teach the words aboutwriting material.
First
a pen, a pencil, a ball pen, a pencil case
Then
a ruler, a rubber, a book, a notebook, a bookmark
3. Show the writing material quickly, say the word, then spell.
Play the match game: Put the right word in the right place.
Step 3 Look, read and learn
1. Read the words aboutwriting material after the tape recorder one by one.
2. Read altogether.
3. Practice in pairs, one points another says.
Step 4 Practice
1. Show the writing material and ask:
May I have …?
Teach “may”,”have”,” May I have …?”
2. May I have …?
Yes./Sure. Here you are.

3. Practice:

Step 5Consolidation
1.Ask the students to practice Part C.
2.渗透节约资源意识。PPT出示一些贫困地区=学生学习现状以及制造一支笔、一张纸要花费的资源量。让学生了解自己手中文具的来之不易,应该好好利用,不能浪费。
