一、教学内容:

   本节课是牛津小学英语6B<Unit 5 the seasons >Part B,综合了本套教材中与季节的相关所有内容,所涉及的内容包括:

1、词汇:

表示季节:spring, summer, autumn, winter

表示天气:warm, cool ,sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy, ,snowy, hot,cold . .

表示服装:skirt,T-shirt,cap,jeans,sweater,scarf,gloves,shorts,coat,dress-----

表示活动:Climb hills,go swimming/skating/skiing/shopping,make snowman----

2、句型:

谈论季节:What season is it?

谈论天气:Whats the weather like today ?

谈论服装:What can you wear in spring---?

谈论活动;What can you do in Spring ---?

谈论情感:Which season do you like best ?

二、教学目标和要求:

1、能听懂、会说、会认、会写表示季节的单词:spring, summer, autumn, winter

2、能听懂、会说、会认、会写表示天气的单词:warm, cool ,sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy, , snowy,hot,cold .

2、灵活运用所学句型进行交际:Which season do you like best ? I like ---best.

3、能根据提示各地的天气情况。

4、了解中国不同地方的季节和天气是有差异的,培养对祖国的热爱之情,祖国就是我们的家,我们要爱护我们的家,做文明的小主人。

三、教学难点:

1、能根据所学知识表达各地区的天气情况。

2、灵活运用所学句型进行交际。

四、课前准备:

1、准备录音机,磁带,课件。

2、课前写好本课的课题The seasons

3、一些季节和天气的图片,单词卡片,课堂所需材料。

六、教学过程:

Step1.Warming-up.

1A game .

   教师说出某类物品或活动的总称,如clothes,sports,food等,学生快速说出所包含的单词,如coat,dress---,看谁回答得快而准确。

T: Boys and girls, Let’s play a game . Let me see who has a good memory .Are you ready ?

Ss:Yes.

T: OK.Let’s begin our games. Can you say some words about clothes?

Ss: Dress, coat-----

[设计说明]:通过这一活动设计,快速复习了与本课有关的词汇,不仅为学生学习和运用相关句型作铺垫,同时游戏的设计也充分调动了学生的积极性,活跃了课堂气氛。

2Free talk

 

  What’s the date today ?

  How many days are there in a week ?

  How many students are the in our class ?

[设计说明]:此活动的设计有两个目的,一是让学生提高口语水平,使学生能提高口语表达能力;二是从此环节的最后问题引出本课的新授内容。

Step2 Presentation and practise

1.Words(season, spring, summer, autumn, winter).

(1).T(ask): How many seasons are there in a year ?出示课件和单词卡片认读单词seasons

Ss: Four

T(ask): What are they ?

出示课件和单词卡片认读单词spring, summer, autumn, winter

[设计说明]:通过上一环节,导入本课内容,过渡自然,衔接得当。同时这一环节我充分运用了各种直观手段,图片,课件,声音都充分刺激了学生的多种感官,学生的学习兴趣大幅度提高,为继续下面的教学奠定了良好的基础。

(2).Play a game.

T: Boys and girls , Lets play a game again. Can you guess what season in my hand ?  (每次师故意藏起一张,由学生猜测)。

[设计说明]:通过游戏巩固单词,能充分调动学生的积极性。另外此环节的游戏设计学生可充分练习所学单词。

2、句型:Which season do you like best ? I like ____ best.

(1).T(ask): There are four seasons in one year .I like spring best. Which season do you like best ?

出示课件认读句型Which season do you like best ? I like ____ best.

T(ask): Which season do you like best ?

Ss(answer): I like winter best.

(2).Practise in groups.

学生小组练习句型.

T: Now boys and girls,please practise in groups .Please ask you friends which season they like best.

学生在小组内询问练习巩固句型:Which season do you like best ? I like ____ best.

  T: Look. In our classroom. We have four groups .If you like spring best,please sit in spring group.---

根据自己的喜好全班分为四组spring, summer, autumn, winter

[设计说明]:此环节目的让学生联系实际,说说自己的喜好,巩固重点句型。此外本环节最主要的意图是分组,让学生在合作中学习,学生能从合作中掌握知识。本节课分组合作形式贯穿整个课堂始终。

3weather warm, cool ,sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy---.

(1)T: Now lets talk about the weather in each season in our city Tai zhou. At first lets learn some words.

课件出示天气教授单词warm, cool ,sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy, , snowy .学生采用多种形式跟读单词。

[设计说明]:通过课件形式呈现天气单词,形象生动,既能掌握新知识,通过图片形式加深学生的记忆,又能调动学生的学习热情。

(2)出示一天气预报图询问Whats the weather like in Beijing/Guangzhou----- today ?学生根据实际情况回答。

[设计说明]:通过这一环节设计目的不仅让学生巩固句型,还让学生联系实际,了解中国的实际气候特征。不同的城市在同一时间的气候不一定相同,中国地域广阔,培养热爱祖国的情感,祖国就是我们的家,我们要爱护我们的家,做文明的小主人。

(3)学生小组讨论:Whats the weather like in spring, summer, autumn, winter in our city?

  [设计说明]:通过学生小组合作方式交流,使小组对所在城市的气候特征有所了解,同时通过交流方式,也使不同信息得到共享。

(4) Chant.(课件出示Chant内容)

Spring, spring, spring, it’s warm, warm, warm.

Summer, summer, summer, it’s hot, hot, hot.

Autumn, autumn, autumn, it’s cool, cool, cool

Winter, winter, winter, it’s cold, cold, cold.

 [设计说明]:通过创编的歌谣,既巩固知识,又调动了每个学生的注意力,同时活跃了课堂气氛。

4.Activities:学生小组讨论What can you do ?

(1)T((ask): What can you do in spring/summer/autumn/winter?Please discuss in your groups.

Ss(学生小组讨论回答):I can go climbing in spring .

  Ss:I can go swimming in summer.---

 (2)出示课件引导学生回答:In spring ,It is warm. I can ----.

T(出示一课件,师先师范练习,再由学生操练。): look. In spring ,It is warm. I can climb.It is windy,I can fly kites.Now Please practise by yourselves.

    Ss 操练。

[设计说明]:通过这一设计,充分练习了学生的口语,学生能开口说一段英语,大大提高了学生的信心。

5.Clothes: 学生小组讨论What can you wear in spring/summer/autumn/winter?

(1)T((ask): What can you wear in spring/summer/autumn/winter?

   Ss(小组讨论后回答)I can wear a sweater in spring.

   -----

(2)播放flash学生回答问题。

  T:Just now we talked about the seasons .I have three good friends. They are talking about the seasons,too. Listen, what are they saying ?

Ss listen and answer the questions.

[设计说明]:通过播放flash,让学生进一步感受四季的不同特点,同时flash有效调动了学生的多种感官,因而有效调动了学生的参与积极性。这一环节是对课本知识的拓展,在本课中出现了warm clothes这一词汇,我就对本课进行扩充,既学生让对衣服类的知识有个复习,同时又让学生对季节有更形象深刻的了解,所讨论的内容季节穿着也与实际生活息息相关。

Step 3. Read and write.

T:Now do you know the seasons in our city ?

Ss: Yes.

T:Do you want to know the weather in New York ?

Ss: Yes.

T: Now please take out this paper. Read this passage and answer the questions. 课前发好的材料如下):

The seasons in New York

In  sping, It is warm.It often rains. The trees are green,  the flowers are beautiful. So New York is very beautiful in spring.

In summer, It is very hot,as hot as in Taizhou.  Children can swim in summer.

Autumn is the best season in New York.  It is cool usually sunny.  Sometimes it’s windy. People like to go to farms in the countryside and pick apples.

In winter, It’s very cold there.  It’s colder than in Taizhou.  We must wear warm clothes . It often snows.  The children can make snowmen with their friends.  It is fun.

Questions:

1. What’s the weather like in spring\summer\autumn\winter  in New York?

2. Which season is the best season in New York?

3. Which city is colder in winter ,New York or Taizhou ?

 [设计说明]:这一活动设计,培养了学生的阅读能力。高年级对培养学生的阅读已经有一定的要求,在教学中要充分培养学生的阅读方面能力。另外此阅读材料是根据书本上的Part A部分改编而来,学生通过本课的阅读能充分接触课文,可简化课文部分的教学难度,为课文部分的教学奠定了坚实的基础。

Step 4 Write a passage.

   学生根据课堂所授知识,完成短文。利用小组合作来完成。

  T: Now you know the seasons in Taizhou, please write a passage about the seasons you talked just now.

 [设计说明]:本环节属于完成任务阶段。任务型教学的结果通常以具体的学习成果为标志。学生所写的短文是本节课任务的成果,是之前若干学习环节的综合体现。学生通过完成各个若干小任务,了解了本地的天气特征后,才能写出相关的短文。

Step 5.Homework.

T: After class,you can surf the Internet to know the weather in other cities.

[设计说明]:家庭作业的布置,让本课学生的学习充分与实际生活相连,也使本节课的教学延伸到了课外。
